Hi, I’m Mardi,

I work at the intersection of the brain and body.

I help people understand their pain, trust their body again, and move forward without constantly second guessing themselves. I also work with people who aren’t in physical pain, but know they’re not quite where they want to be, whether that’s in their performance, their mindset, or just how they feel day to day.

Because most people aren’t broken, they’ve just never been shown how everything connects.

I didn’t come into this work thinking I’d be combining movement, neuroscience and emotional work. Like a lot of people I work with now, I was drawn to the physical side first, the movement, rehab, helping people get out of pain.

But over time, I kept seeing the same thing.

People were doing everything “right” - the exercises, the treatment, the rehab… and still not getting lasting results. Pain would come back. Confidence wouldn’t return. They didn’t trust their body. Performance decreased. They stopped doing what they love.

At the same time, I was working with people who looked like they were functioning well on the outside (training, working, showing up) but felt stuck, flat, or disconnected underneath it all and couldn’t perform when it mattered. They wanted more from themselves and their life, but didn’t know how to shift it.

And it didn’t make sense, until it did.

That’s when I started looking beyond just the physical.

Into the nervous system.
Into how the brain processes pain.
Into how stress, past experiences and beliefs shape what we feel in our body and how we show up in our life.

And everything changed.

Not just for my clients, but in how I understood the body completely.

I’m currently completing a Master’s in Neuroscience, which continues to deepen how I approach pain, behaviour and performance.

Now, my work brings both brain and body together.

The physical, the psychological, the emotional, the spiritual.

What I’ve learnt is that you can’t separate them, and when you stop trying to, things start to shift properly.

This is where pain starts to make sense, your body feels safer, and you can actually move forward. It’s also where you can rebuild energy, improve performance, and reconnect with a sense of clarity, motivation and direction.

I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, from active women and athletes to those navigating injury, chronic pain, burnout and major life transitions. My background includes BA science, Clinical Pilates, Remedial massage, Meditation teaching and coaching and counselling, all grounded in both experience and evidence.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me training, running, in the sauna or ice bath, or spending time with good people. I care about this work deeply, not just because of what it does physically, but because of how much it changes how people feel about themselves and what they believe is possible for their life.

If you’re ready to understand your body and mind properly and start moving forward, you can work with me 1:1 or explore the options available..
